After another week of showers and sunshine in Greater Manchester, this weekend will remain largely dry. Despite the bright conditions, it will still be rather chilly, with temperatures dropping to -4C overnight.

According to the Met Office, there will be 'plenty of sunshine' throughout the morning today - so if you're wanting to get out on a spring walk to catch some rays, you're better off going earlier in the day.

Unfortunately cloud will bubble up this afternoon, bringing a scattering of showers - but this should only be brief. If you're heading out this afternoon, then make sure to wrap up warm as it will still feel cold in the breeze, with highs of 9C.

Later on, Greater Manchester can expect a dry night with 'lengthy clear periods.' Read more: Ukraine breakfast briefing: Zelensky denounces Russian 'act of evil' Light winds are forecast, with widespread frost which will feel sharp is some places.
