A town in Greater Manchester has been crowned one of the best places in the country for a pub crawl. According to party 'experts,' Oldham has a vast number of boozers within 10 square miles - making it the perfect spot to hop from one pub to the next.
The neighbouring town of Huddersfield was crowned as the most pub-packed town or city in England, say Stag Weekends and Hen Weekends, which as the name suggests arranges boozy nights out. Taking second and third place is South Shields and Shrewsbury, with Bristol, Bath also Norwich making the cut. The list was calculated using certified data from Nomis, which reveals the number of pubs and bars in major towns and cities in England.
The sizes of each town or city were then divided by the number of pubs in each location, resulting in a list of England’s most dense pub crawl destinations.
