Greater Manchester Police officer due in court charged with harassment

Greater Manchester Police have charged a serving police officer following a report of harassment over a period of three months.

PC Dean Dickenson, 51, from Oldham was today (Friday) charged with an offence of harassment, a statement from Greater Manchester Police confirmed.

The officer has been placed on restricted duties, according to the force. The PC Dickenson is due to attend Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on September 30 at 11:30am. "It comes after police received a report that between 10 December 2021 and 21 March 2022 a woman was repeatedly contacted by a police officer," said the GMP statement.
