Lynda Obst, a renowned Hollywood film producer, has passed away at the age of 74 after battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Obst was known for her work on iconic films such as Sleepless in Seattle, Interstellar, and The Invention of Lying.The industry has paid tribute to her, with Top Gun star Glenn Powell describing her as a "true trailblazer" who was always willing to help him learn during his internship with her.
Powell tweeted: "I interned for Lynda when I first moved to LA. A true trailblazer who never missed an opportunity to help me learn.
I'd often get to drive her home from the office and witnessed someone who took in everything. To her, the entire world was a great story ripe for the making.
