Stockport and Wigan are now aligned with the national advice, Bolton has had its restrictions tightened, with Oldham remaining in special measures, with the Department of Health insisting the rate infection is “still too high” to lift lockdown.
The onus seems to be on keeping residents from mixing with other households, as the boroughs battle with rising cases of coronavirus.
But each area has its own subtle deviations from the original Greater Manchester lockdown - and it could mean different rules depending where you are.
For instance, in Oldham, you won't be able to meet a mate for a pint in a pub beer garden, but soon you will be able to go to the casino (with people from your own household).
