Tens of thousands of people were set to take part in the Great Manchester Run on Sunday. Runners were expected to take on the 10k and half marathon routes which take in parts of the city centre, east Manchester and Old Trafford.

And this year's race was extra special as 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the run. READ MORE: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community The first runners started at 8.30am in the half marathon, with the final 10k waves setting off at 12.54pm.

Both races once again started at Portland Street - with the half marathon looping around the Etihad - and ran down Chester Road towards Old Trafford and back.

However whether you were running for fun, or wanting to post a personal best, you will want to know how you did - or maybe check a friend or family member's time.
