The second episode of the Great British Sewing Bee got off to a brilliant start, when our favourite amateur sewers were tasked with taking on a series of sport-inspired challenges with a distinctive Olympic flair.
During the show, the contestants were tasked with creating a half-zip fleece, an outfit made from repurposed cricket kit and a national strip fit for the world stage.
However, it was contestant Pascha who left viewers puzzled when she mentioned her famous relative while discussing her decision to create a Team GB inspired kit for her javelin thrower godbrother.
Speaking to judges Esme Young and Patrick Grant, Pascha said: "My god-brother is a javelin thrower and he competes for the country, and we're very much hoping to see him at the Olympics." She then went on to outline how she was creating a kit which featured seamless leggings with a zipped back letterbox pocket, alongside a racerback vest with contrast binding and statement side panels.
