Granit Xhaka has praised Mikel Arteta for his open communication at Arsenal. The Swiss midfielder was close to leaving the Gunners in January before being convinced to stay by Arteta.
Xhaka believes a conversation with the former Manchester City No 2 helped him "restart" and he understood what was required of him.
The 27-year-old has endured a difficult season which reached boiling point when he clashed with fans in October. But since Arteta's arrival he has felt valued and praised many of the new coach's methods.
