Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
An Australian who claims he is Prince Charles and Camilla’s secret lovechild says he has ‘proof’ he is their son. Grandad Simon Dorante-Day was conceived in 1965, when the Prince of Wales was just 17 and the Duchess of Cornwall, 18.
The father-of-nine was born in the UK but was adopted by a family who he says had strong royal ties. He suggests his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest both worked for the Queen and Prince Philip in the 60s.
The 55-year-old made the bizarre claims after Charles and Camilla did not responded to his letters. He's even filed papers in a bid to force the royals to take a DNA test but he has still been ignored and says he won't stop there.
