Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic NBC’s “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” is adding more performers to the roster for the March 19 special, which will devote three hours to commemorating the 100th anniversary of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
The live broadcast will feature performances from Post Malone, Keith Urban, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Alan Jackson, Jamey Johnson, Ricky Skaggs, Terri Clark, Steven Curtis Chapman, Yolanda Adams and Travis Tritt, it was announced Thursday.
The network also revealed a further slate of longstanding Opry members who will be making appearances on the telecast, including Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Lauren Alaina, Sara Evans, Scotty McCreery, Chris Janson and Dustin Lynch.
Blake Shelton is hosting the show from the Opry House in Nashville. Artists previously announced as performing include Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Lainey Wilson, Kelsea Ballerini, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Brad Paisley, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Dierks Bentley, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Clint Black, Trace Adkins and Travis Tritt.
