Graham Norton has taken as swipe at his own employer over their approach to hiring women in the workplace. The 57-year-old chat show superstar is the third highest paid employee at the BBC – but he has hinted he thinks there are more women on the highest salary list than bosses might want.
Graham – who has helmed his BBC show since 2007, and transferred over to Auntie from Channel 4 in 2005 – signalled he doesn’t think bosses would reward female employees financially if the Corporation wasn’t forced to share the salary’s of its stars.
