Aberdeen are closing in on a return for Graeme Shinnie with the Dons looking to seal a deal to re-sign the popular midfielder from Wigan Athletic.
Jim Goodwin is keen to land the former Aberdeen captain and bring him back to Pittodrie for a second stint, having enjoyed a successful spell under former boss Derek McInnes after his arrival from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
