Good Morning Britain's Adil Ray blasted for 'stupid' question as he asks MP if 'Jesus would be sent to Rwanda'

Adil Ray has come under fire from Good Morning Britain viewers for an unusual question that they've branded 'stupid'. The presenter and actor was back at the helm of the show on Monday (April 18) alongside Kate Garraway.

During the Easter Monday programme, the hosts were joined via video link from outside Westminster by MP Greg Hands, who is Minister of State for Business, Energy, and Clean Growth.

Kate kicked off the interview by asking the Conservative Party politician about the Partygate scandal which continues to rumble on as fresh allegations are made about a separate event to the one Prime Minister Boris Johnson was issued a fine for last week. Mr Johnson is reported to be preparing to make a statement in the Commons once MPs return to Westminster following the Easter recess.
