Last night, the Golden Globe Awards held a bi-coastal event in Los Angeles and New York City, one designed to try and simulate some awards season normalcy.
Of course, the 78th ceremony was anything but normal, even if things more or less went off with minimal hitches. No film really dominated, though the best nights were had by Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Nomadland, and Soul, as they were the only movies to win multiple categories.
What does it mean for Oscar? Well, potentially very little, but sit tight there. For now, we just have the results from the Globes to consider.
