Rosamund Pike took home the award for best performance by an actress in a motion picture, comedy or musical during Sunday night’s Golden Globes for I Care a Lot.
The actress beat out Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Kate Hudson (Music), Michelle Pfeiffer(French Exit)and Anya Taylor-Joy (Emma).
After being announced the winner, Pike could be seen visibly excited, quick to give a nod to her film’s title, "I bet it looks like I care a lot.
I do!" In her acceptance speech, Pike thanked the HFPA for "recognizing the dark side of comedy" and Netflix for "giving us an audience" but gave a special acknowledgement to fellow nominee Bakalova.
