Gogglebox star George Gilbey's friends set up appeal to raise funeral funds after tragic death

So far, only half of the £5,000 goal to give George a fitting send-off has been raised.The reality TV favourite was involved in a tragic accident at the end of March 2024, falling from a warehouse roof in Essex at the age of 40, leaving behind his young daughter whom he welcomed with Gemma Conway in 2016.
In the wake of this unexpected tragedy, George's loved ones are rallying together to organise his funeral. A GoFundMe page, set up by family friend Rob Barlow, is seeking donations to assist with the expenses.
Although the campaign is halfway to its target, there's still an opportunity for fans and supporters to contribute.The fundraising initiative was launched on behalf of George's devastated mother, Linda McGarry, aged 74.
