Former Spandau Ballet singer Ross William Wild has appeared in court charged with a string of sexual offences including rape.The 34 year old appeared in Carlisle Magistrates Court on Thursday to face a string of charges that saw him accused of filming himself molesting six different women while they were sleeping. He is also charged with raping, blackmailing and disclosing a private sexual picture of a seventh woman. He was arrested in Aberdeen at his parents home, after the CPS authorised the police to arrest him in relation to 17 offences which allegedly took place between 2013 and 2018.

Gogglebox star Jenny Newby has given fans a positive health update after an operation caused her to miss most of the current series. Newby and Lee Riley – who have starred on the show since 2014 – have been absent from the past few weeks of Gogglebox. The 19th season is currently underway on Channel 4.

After the pair were missing from recent episodes, sparking concern from fans, Lee had taken to social media to share that Jenny had undergone surgery, and hence was missing from the show and unable to attend the Baftas. He had assured fans, however, that it was a ‘minor operation’ and Jenny would be fighting fit in no time.
