Gogglebox's Dave and Shirley show off rarely seen son as fans all say same thing

Gogglebox icons Dave and Shirley have shared a snap of their rarely seen son and fans are shocked at how alike he and his famous father are.The TV favourites have been a staple on the Channel 4 show since 2015 and film together in their home in Caerphilly, near Cardiff, reports the Mirror.The pair have been together for more than 40 years - and share two kids, Simon and Gemma, who prefer to stay out of the spotlight and don't feature with their parents on the show.

However, the pair delighted fans as they celebrated Simon's huge achievement - completing the Newport marathon, with his parents cheering him on.

They shared a clip of Simon in action to their Instagram account and wrote: "Our son Simon running in the Newport marathon, go son he's all in black 26 miles in front of him good luck butt xxx."When Simon crossed the finish line, his proud parents shared a message with their fans.

They said: "Well done son 3hrs 46mins massively proud get in there xxx." Gogglebox stars the Siddiquis shared their support as they commented: "Good luck Simon." A fan wrote: "well done to your son xx."Fans were distracted by the similarities between Simon and Dave.One said: "Looks so like his dad!!
