Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid rushed to comfort one upset guest on Wednesday's show as they broke down in tears over their son's death.

Susanna, 54, and Ed Balls spoke to Barnaby Webber's mother Emma. Barnaby was tragically killed alongside his friend Grace O'Malley-Kumar in Nottingham as they made their way home from a night out, with paranoid schizophrenic Valdo Calocane also going on to kill Ian Coates.

Calocane was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order after killing 19-year-old students Barnaby and Grace, and 65-year-old caretaker Ian, before attempting to kill three other people, in a spate of attacks in Nottingham in June 2023.

On Wednesday's show, Good Morning Britain reported that "NHS England has been forced to publish the full report revealing a litany of mistakes in the medical care of Calocane".
