Clever camera trickery and a split screen makes them appear to viewers as if they are sitting right next to each other, but if one host moves out of their small area on screen they vanish.
This means Piers and Susanna were able to pretend to share a steamy kiss on the screen as they lined up the edges of their camera angles and puckered up.
Unimpressed viewers fumed on Twitter that the exchange made them feel ill, as one wrote: "ffs feels sick now gm #GMB ". Snother added: " @susannareid100 &
