Good Morning Britain took an awkward turn as Kate Garraway issued an apology to her co-star after a sudden interruption. On Thursday’s (February 13) episode of the ITV breakfast show, Kate and Ed Balls took on hosting duties as they presented the day's top stories.
However it was during one segment that the pair suffered an awkward moment. The duo were joined by former Strictly Come Dancing star Angela Rippon as she promoted her Let’s Dance initiative.
It didn’t take long for Kate to bring up the iconic moment Angela stunned the nation with her high-kicking dance routine on Morecambe & Wise.
Turning to Angela, Kate went on to say: “That launched your dance career but your career was already on the way with journalism.” Ed admitted: “I saw that at home on that Christmas and it was so amazing.
