Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain host Ed Balls says every day at the ITV studios offers a memorable moment, but one incident stands out - the time he accidentally kicked his co-star in the head.
The former politician confesses that the on-air mishap with Susanna Reid was the most horrifying moment "possibly of my life", and he made amends later that day by sending her flowers.
Ed reflected on the incident as he reminisced about some of the most unforgettable times during his tenure at GMB so far. He said: "I think the great thing about Good Morning Britain is that it feels like there is a memorable moment every day. "So being tearful with Gareth Gates about stammering or Donny Osmond cutting me off when I started singing and saying, 'Ed, let me do the singing'.
Or the mad dash after seven hours live on ITV on election night to then host Good Morning Britain." He continued: " However, despite all of that, I'm afraid the point where I suddenly realised, by mistake, that I'd kicked Susanna Reid in the head, live on television is undoubtedly the most memorable and horrifying moment - possibly of my life, but certainly this year. "Because it was so not what I meant to do.
