Good Morning Britain 's Dr Hilary has branded the new airport coronavirus testing as not 'the game changer it's being sold as'.
The show's resident medical expert, 67, was discussing a new coronavirus testing centre at Heathrow Airport which could allow passengers arriving in the UK to skip having to quarantine.The doctor began by discussing how everyone is seemingly excited about being able to go on holiday and the possibility of reducing the quarantine on returning due to the airport testing.He warned viewers that the tests themselves cost £150, and if you're asymptomatic, you'd need a second test, making your total cost £300.The doctor also revealed that the process would only save passengers 4 days from quarantine, so it might not be.
