Good Morning Britain 's Dr Hilary Jones has pointed out what he calls a "glaring error" in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's new lockdown measures.
New rules in England included a 10pm closing time for pubs, bars and restaurants, and the "rule of six" means people should not mix in groups any bigger than six people.
Dr Hilary said he believes this does not go far enough, and thinks the number should be reduced to two or even to stop households from mingling at all.
He explained that the R-rate of COVID-19 could shoot up even higher when five people can leave a gathering of six and meet five other friends, and so can their friends, unwittingly infecting several people with the virus.
