GMB's Ben Shephard slammed with over 1,000 Ofcom complaints over Rishi Sunak row

Good Morning Britain 's Ben Shephard has been hit with more than 1,000 complaints from viewers furious about his row with Rishi Sunak last week.

Ofcom received 1,008 complaints over the tense interview which saw Ben and his co host Susanna Reid tear into Chancellor Rishi Sunak.

Ben had read out a tweet from Mr Sunak's account that said: "You have not been forgotten. We will not leave you behind. We are all in this together." He added: "You went on to list all the business support schemes there were, for various people in various people in various forms of employment. "Unfortunately that’s not true, is it?" Ben shot at Mr Sunak.
