The GMB weatherman looked glum as he headed out for some fresh air in his hometown of Bristol amid the controversy that has made headlines on both sides of the Atlantic.
Alex, 40, appeared deep in thought as he took a stroll dressed in a smart blue suit and white trainers while clasping his mobile phone.
The TV star's appearance came shortly after he released a statement explaining his feelings on Piers leaving GMB for good after they clashed live on air.
