A Good Morning Britain presenter has highlighted the growing frustration of Jay Slater's family and friends with the ongoing search for the missing teenager.Jay disappeared while on holiday in Tenerife after attending a music festival.
He had ventured to the north of the island with two men he met during his night out and made a phone call to his friend the following day, stating that he needed water and his phone battery was at 1%.Since then, there has been no contact from him as the search continues.Reporting live from Tenerife, Good Morning Britain's Jonathan Swain said: "They were desperately hoping he would be found by now.
They are upset, anxious and terrified by what might of happened to him. They have frustrations with the Spanish police. "I saw for myself yesterday how they just appear to be focused on one area - a remote valley in the north of the island - that's where they think Jay's mobile phone was last used.
And if Jay was trying to walk back to his holiday hotel in the south of the island, one eyewitness said he was walking the wrong way on Monday morning after that night out.", reports the Mirror.
