Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid rejected her co host Adil Ray's attempt at a hug on Monday, as lockdown measured loosened meaning we can now hug one another.
Discussing how safe it was to hug with Dr Hilary Jones, Adil stood up and opened his arms, ready to embrace Susanna. But she was not keen and remained sitting, rejecting Adil, who was forced to go and sit back down.
Susanna apologised and explained she wanted to save her hugs for her most loved ones, including her mother, and not risk passing on any infections to her.
