Liverpool will benefit massively from Thiago who can take the responsibility off their front three, according to Glen Johnson.
The Spaniard had long been linked with a switch to Anfield after expressing his desire to quit Bayern Munich. Prior to his arrival the Reds relied heavily on their attacking trio to get the goals that would win them games.
But they would occasionally struggle against teams who sat deep, although Thiago's creativity will help counter that. He has by no means been a prolific midfielder during his trophy-laden career, but Johnson is confident he will play a huge role in the attacking third.
