The singer-songwriter, who released his second album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’ this month (May 19), is due to headline the Main Stage West at the dual event this August.Now, it’s been confirmed that Capaldi will play a tiny gig at The Wardrobe in Leeds on June 6 with support from James Marriott.Capaldi’s forthcoming performance at the 400-capacity Leeds venue follows his 2023 UK and Ireland arena tour, which took place in January and February.Capaldi will top the bill at Reading & Leeds on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, respectively.

The line-up for Glastonbury Festival 2023 has been revealed and Wigan band The Lathums have been confirmed alongside a host of other artists. The festival, which takes place at Worthy Farm in three weeks time, released its full itinerary for the Somerset event yesterday (May 30) including a detailed breakdown of stages and set times.

Thania Garcia Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” is the No. 1 album in the United States for the 12th week — marking three months at the peak — after it debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 earlier this March. It becomes the first country album in 30 years to spend that many weeks there, nearing a 17-week record set by Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Some Gave It All” (which boasted the hit single “Achy Breaky Heart”) back in 1992. The 36-song set collected the equivalent of 129,000 sales in the latest tracking week, with 163 million streams, according to the tracking service Luminate. Rock band Royal Blood have come under fire for criticising the crowd and storming off stage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend.

Harry Styles has made history by welcoming Scotland's largest ever live audience at his Edinburgh show on Saturday evening.  The former One Direction star broke the record at the Scotland rugby team's Murrayfield Stadium, where more than 65,000 fans converged to watch his performance on May 27.  Styles, 29, also welcomed tens of thousands to his preceding show in the Scottish capital on Friday May 26, but Saturday set a benchmark as the biggest audience for a musical performance in the country's history.
