A glass castle, which seems to be inspired by the Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disney, has been destroyed.
People revealed that the replica castle, which is housed at the Museum of Glass in Shanghai, was destroyed when two kids were chasing each other around one of the exhibits when they ran into it.
The glass replica, called The Fantasy Castle, is valued at 450,000 yuan ($64,000) and took 500 hours to build. A museum spokesperson revealed in a statement that the replica was “demolished”, but will be able to be repaired.
The museum commented on Weibo that “the little visitors knew that their behavior was inappropriate, and, under the encouragement of their parents, reported the incident to the museum staff.
