Cops are hunting fire yobs after a shisha bar in Glasgow was torched. Elixir Lounge and Restaurant on the corner of Wallace Street and Centre Street in the Tradeston area was targeted in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Fire crews were scrambled to the South Side shisha spot shortly after 4.30am, with police called in at around 6.15am. The inferno was extinguished later that morning, with the restaurant and the flats above it heavily damaged in the blaze.
No one was injured during the incident. Police Scotland have since launched a probe into the fire, which they are treating as wilful.
The force confirmed on Saturday that their investigation remains ongoing.In an Instagram post on Thursday, Elixir lashed out at the "cowards" behind the blaze.
