A seven-year-old girl broke down in tears after her teacher asked her to draw her home - while her and her mum were left without one.
Emma Sweeney, from Wavertree in Merseyside, was living in the Balearic Islands with her daughter Maia when the coronavirus pandemic hit last year.
Emma was working as a singer on the club scene, but lost an entire season's worth of 'lucrative' performance engagements 'overnight', the Liverpool Echo reports.
