A girl who was one of two teenagers pulled from the sea in North East Lincolnshire has died, it is being reported. The 15-year-old was airlifted to hospital along with a 15-year-old boy after the pair were taken from the water in Cleethorpes shortly after 7:30pm on Saturday evening (June 24).
According to the BBC, the girl has now very sadly died. They say the condition of the boy is not yet known. Floral tributes to the girl have been left close to the scene. According to a Cleethorpes Coastguard spokesperson, the pair found the pair "some way" to sea after a lifeboat was launched around 4pm.
