mirror.co.ukAn 11-year-old girl has died after an “unexplained” incident at a home as a a man and woman were arrested and then released on bail.
She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after she suffered severe injuries which left her fighting for her life yesterday morning.
But sadly, she was pronounced dead in the early hours of this morning. West Yorkshire Police say they are investigating the death, which is being treated as unexplained, Leeds Live reports.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police are continuing to carry out enquiries following the unexplained death of an 11-year-old girl in Leeds. "A post mortem is being arranged as part of ongoing enquiries to establish the circumstances of the child’s death, which is being treated
