Defiant Rangers manager Gio van Bronckhorst says he doesn’t fear the sack. The Ibrox gaffer has come under scrutiny after a 7-1 mauling from Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Rangers have conceded 16 goals in four group games and don’t have a point in Europe yet. The Liverpool humiliation came after two 4-0 drubbings at the hands of Celtic and Ajax earlier this season.
But van Bronckhorst insists he doesn’t feel under pressure from the Ibrox board. Ahead of the Scottish Premiership clash against Motherwell at Fir Park, van Bronckhorst said: “It can be a crazy thing when you see the changes of managers.
That’s the position we’re in as managers. But I never think of moments like that to be fired. I want to continue my work and put my energy into that.
