Under-fire Rangers boss Gio van Bronckhorst applauded his side’s best performance of the season after mauling Aberdeen at Ibrox.
And the Dutchman says if they replicate it on Tuesday night they’ll pick up their first Champions League points against Ajax.
Gers battered the Dons 4-1 in the Premiership to get van Bronckhorst a much-needed victory, thanks to goals from Antonio Colak, John Lundstram, James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos.
It eased the pressure on their gaffer and moved them to within two points of league leaders Celtic in the table. Afterwards, van Bronckhorst praised their character after going a goal down to Jim Goodwin’s side.
