Gino D'Acampo has finally broken his silence following allegations of 'inappropriate behaviour' as the TV chef responded with just a single word.On Instagram, Gino shared an image from a food blogger who had received a substantial assortment of Gino-branded goods.
With this picture, he simply commented: "Enjoy!!".This comes on the back foot of controversy as the Italian chef was accused last week of acting inappropriately towards a woman spanning over five years, reports the Mirror. The woman, who worked closely with Gino from 2006 to 2011, reportedly brought her grievance to ITV's front door only recently.
Gino's seemingly nonchalant post is his first public communication since the accusations emerged.Amidst the unfolding scandal involving BBC's MasterChef host Gregg Wallace—who has extracted himself from hosting duties whilst contesting several accusations—the climate seemed ripe for D'Acampo’s accuser to step forward.
Reports are also surfacing that Gino, 48, may be experiencing a discreet phase-out by ITV due to burgeoning criticism about his conduct.
