The dancer had a busy end to 2024 having competed in the BBC One dance contest alongside celebrity dance partner Wynne Evans.
Viewers of the hit dance show will recall that opera singer Wynne and professional dancer Katya bowed out of the competition after performing during Strictly's annual Blackpool special where for one-week only the show was broadcast from the Tower Ballroom.
Weeks later and the pair were reunited earlier this month as they prepared to take part in this year's Strictly final which saw the class of 2024 get one last stint on the ballroom floor.
