Lynne, who has spent years providing a loving home for troubled children in need, is now mourning the death of George. Lynne and her husband Pete, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 71, opened their family home in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, to nearly 70 foster children over the years.
George always treated their new arrivals like his own siblings, fully supporting his parents' mission to help local kids in need.
In a chat back in 2016, Lynne explained why they chose to foster, saying that turning your back isn't an option when you have the space to provide a loving home. "We've now fostered 68 children and it's enhanced our lives so much," she told the Daily Star Sunday eight years ago. "It's very rewarding.
