A group of keen loch users have seen first-hand the vital support which Loch Lomond Rescue Boat provides.And they were determined to repay the crew’s efforts during a charity run recently.The horns blared and flares were shot into the sky on a Saturday at the start of September to mark the event.It was arranged through the Loch Lomond Boats and Jet Skis group who promote safe use and awareness of the loch through their Facebook page.Organiser Peter McNicol said: “We only need to look at the tragic events of 2021 on the loch to see how important the rescue boat is.“We read these headlines far too often.“We try and use our group and this event as a tool to promote safety and awareness. “If people have mechanical failures there are a lot of
