It comes after the former The Only Way Is Essex cast member took to social media to thank all the hospital staff that looked after her mum. “'Such a scary moment when Mum comes to hospital.Thank you Queens Hospital Romford for all you're doing,” she wrote, while sharing a picture of Joan with a feeding tube in her nose.

Gemma hasn’t shared what exactly prompted the sudden hospital admission, but has talked about her mum’s health struggles in the past.
