Gemma Collins has revealed she was sent 12 cakes, 100 bunches of flowers, a designer toaster and a mountain of gifts for her 40th birthday.

The reality star hit the milestone on Sunday, and she was swamped with presents from her loved ones. Speaking on her BBC podcast, Gemma admitted it will take weeks for her to open all her gifts.

She also declared her favourite present so far is a £500 Dolce and Gabbana toaster for her new home, which she was given by a group of her friends.

Gemma said: "It was one of the best birthdays I've had... "I had troves and troves of gifts turning up at the house, I lost count.
