The Hits Radio host took to social media as the self-confessed animal lover reflected on having a dog in her life from a young age.
As well as being a proud owner of two dogs herself - Ollie and Norman - Gemma, 39, is also the president of Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in her hometown of Bury.
She has worked with the charity for many years and was recently seen paying a visit with her daughter, Mia. So it's no surprise that Gemma has always been a fan of animals and taking to Instagram on Monday (April 15), she shared a number of snaps of herself as a youngster with her "first dog and best friend" Fergie.
