Gayle King questioned whether the Queen was truly "blindsided" by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to leave the Royal Family and then move to California.

The 66-year-old CBS This Morning host has been a fervent supporter of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and she has doubted whether the Queen would have been kept in the dark about the big decision.

It was reported that the couple's announcement about their future was made without the knowledge of senior royals, Gayle said after the Megxit announcement that this could not have been the case.
