Gavin And Stacey stars return to Barry Island for new show

Gavin and Stacey fans will be thrilled to hear that two of its stars are reuniting in Barry Island for a brand new show. Alison Steadman, 76, and 77 year old Larry Lamb, who played Gavin's parents Mick and Pam Shipman, are due to return to our TV screens as they reunite to pay tribute to their roles in Gavin and Stacey.

Last summer, he pair was spotted filming together, sparking speculation that a reunion was in the cards. It's now been announced that they will be seen travelling 210 miles together from Billericay in Essex to Barry in Wales in an upcoming three part series which promises to feature some surprise guests along the way.

In the three-part series, Alison & Larry: Billericay To Barry, the stars will take a trip down memory lane and meet special guests during their travels.

Speaking about filming the upcoming show, Larry said: "I am really looking forward to reminiscing with Alison whilst taking the trip from Billericay to Barry, it was such a huge part in the plot of Gavin And Stacey. "This journey holds a special place in my heart and I hope the fans are pleased with it." Alison added: "I can't wait to take this trip down memory lane to explore Pam and Mick's neck of the woods, as well as so many other locations precious to me. "And who better to do it with than Larry!
