Fans of Gavin and Stacey were left thrilled when the finale finally aired on screens on Christmas Day - with lots of questions from the previous special answered and *spoiler alert* the return of much-loved old characters, it is undoubtedly an episode that will go down in history.

After audiences were forced to wait five years to discover whether Smithy said 'yes' or 'no' to Nessa when she popped the question, the new episode centred around Smithy's upcoming nuptials to Sonia.

But one thing viewers were left puzzled about was a moment during their wedding ceremony. As the entire cast - including Gavin and Stacey, Pam and Mick, Pete and Dawn, Gwen, Brynn and Jason, and even 'Dave Coaches' - came together for one final time, Oscar Hartland aka Neil the Baby, son of Smithy and Nessa, sang an emotional rendition of The Beatles' hit song, Blackbird.

And, although it fitted perfectly with the episode, many were left asking why it was included.
