Gary Neville was delighted to see old team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo save Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.The Portuguese superstar broke his duck to volley home a sensational goal before half time.And it could not have been a more timely strike for boss Solskjaer, who desperately needed a lift for his team in north London.Defeat could have spelled the end for the Red Devils legend, especially off the back of their 5-0 drubbing by Liverpool.Ronaldo, though, was far more involved then in recent poor games playing up alongside Edinson Cavani against Tottenham.His volley past Hugo Lloris was greeted with a fist pump from the under-fire manager, and Neville acknowledged on commentary for Sky Sports.
