Gail Porter has spoken about suffering from crippling insomnia, which sometimes then forces her to sleep for a whopping 48 hours and 'lose days'.

The 52 year old Scottish TV personality has spoken to The Sunday Times Magazine about her daily routine as she opened up on her mental health and insomnia struggles.

Gail explained: "I have terrible insomnia — I'm up at 1am, 3am, 5am. I'm a worrier. Will I get work after Edinburgh? Have I messaged my friends enough?

Is Ziggy going to like the cat-sitter?' "It has been going on since I was three or four — nothing works," she added. "Sometimes I'm so tired, I sleep for 48 hours.
