Laura Anderson opened up on her final days of pregnancy as she tries to bring on the arrival of her first child.The former Love Island star, 34, shared a photo of herself bouncing on a gym ball in hopes of inducing labour, as she shared her thoughts on becoming a new parent.The star shared that she’d been using the exercise ball and drinking a special tea after having a sweep earlier that day.

Laura shared a mirror selfie from her living room as she wrote: “Hate this bloody ball & this tea tbh but I had a sweep today not something I thought I'd get but gave it a bash.” She added: “Thank you all for your messages just giving those interested a lil I update.

No doubt I'II be quiet on here for a bit as life is sort of standing still at mo, trying to enjoy the calm but it's hard.” A membrane sweep is when a midwife or doctor sweeps their finger around the cervix, which should separate the membranes of the amniotic sac from the cervix, according to the NHS.

This separation releases hormones which can bring on labour. Laura is expecting a baby with her ex Gary Lucy, who she met while appearing on Celebs Go Dating.
